Riders Republic krijgt filmadaptatie

En het beroemde Belgische directie-duo Adil El Arbi en Bilall Fallah staan achter de camera.

 

Gaumont en Ubisoft Film & Television kondigen een verfilming aan van de bekroonde videogame Riders Republic, met een high-profile regieteam. Het Belgische duo Adil El Arbi en Bilall Fallah, regisseurs van de box office hits Bad Boys for Life en Bad Boys: Ride or Die (die samen meer dan $830 miljoen wereldwijd scoorden in de box office), gaan de film regisseren.

Bekroond schrijver Noé Debré (Dheepan - Palme d'Or op het 68e filmfestival van Cannes, Stillwater, The World Is Yours) schrijft het scenario. De verfilming stelt zich op als een toffe actiefilm met non-stop spanning, humor en spectaculaire stunts op de besneeuwde hellingen van de Alpen.

​Riders Republic is een sportvideogame vol adrenaline, met meer dan 10 miljoen spelers wereldwijd, die spelers meeneemt naar berglandschappen waar ze de sensatie van extreme sporten kunnen ervaren en hun eigen pad naar glorie kunnen banen.
