Assassin's Creed Shadows is nu verkrijgbaar

Assassin's Creed Shadows, de nieuwste toevoeging aan de Assassin's Creed-franchise, is nu wereldwijd verkrijgbaar. Het spel is verkrijgbaar op PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Amazon Luna, Macs met Apple silicon en Windows pc. Bovendien is de game Steam Deck-geverifieerd.
Ontwikkeld onder leiding van Ubisoft Québec*, de veelgeprezen studio achter onder andere Assassin's Creed Odyssey, dompelt Assassin's Creed Shadows spelers onder in het Japan van de 16e eeuw. Spelers beleven de met elkaar verweven verhalen van Naoe, een bedreven shinobi assassin uit de Iga-provincie, en Yasuke, de machtige samoerai uit de historische legende. Spelers ontdekken de verschillende gameplaystijlen, komen cruciale historische figuren tegen en vormen hun gezamenlijke lot terwijl Japan een wreed pad bewandelt op weg naar de eenwording.
Als eerste grootschalige open-wereld RPG-deel sinds Assassin's Creed Valhalla luidt Assassin's Creed Shadows een nieuw tijdperk in voor de franchise door exclusief uit te komen op new-gen platformen. De game is ontwikkeld met de nieuwste ANVIL-engine-technologie en tilt de beleving naar nieuwe hoogten met een rijk gedetailleerde wereld. De game introduceert geavanceerde functies zoals dynamisch seizoensgebonden weer, realtime belichting en -schaduwen, verbluffend realistische beelden, gevarieerde landschappen en vernietigbare omgevingen die reageren op acties van de speler.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is verkrijgbaar in drie edities:
- De Standard Edition bevat de basisgame
- De Digital Deluxe Edition bevat de basisgame, het Sekiryu Dual Pack met uitrusting en wapens voor Naoe en Yasuke, het Sekiryu Hideout Pack met cosmetica voor de hideout in de game en Mastery Points
- De Collector's Edition bevat de basisgame, het Sekiryu Dual Pack, het Sekiryu Hideout Pack, Mastery Points en fysieke content. De fysieke inhoud bestaat uit een Steelbook, de wereldkaart, een standbeeld van Naoe & Yasuke, Naoe's Katana Tsuba op ware grootte, een Wall Creed Scroll, een verzamelboek van 76 pagina's en 2 sumi-e litho's.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is nu verkrijgbaar voor PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S en Windows pc, onder andere via de Ubisoft Store.
